A Personal finance app to track your spending, understand your habits, and ask even the most honest questions about money judgment-free.
People don't avoid money…
They try to avoid the reality check !!! - the discomfort, the judgement and the truth.
Fortura started with the aim to soften that moment and make tracking personal finance feel easier and approachable.

Fortura started with the aim to soften that moment and make tracking personal finance feel easier and approachable.

how it started

Most finance apps react the moment you cross a spending limit.
Notifications like “Budget exceeded” or “You’re spending too much” appear instantly.
Instead of feeling guided, users feel judged.
And that’s not a great way to build a habit.
When checking money starts to feel uncomfortable, people stop checking.
It’s not that they don’t care - they care a lot.
They just don’t want the stress that comes with the reality check.
So avoidance quietly becomes the default behaviour.

To understand finances, users often jump across multiple screens and tabs.
Income in one place, expenses in another, balance somewhere else.
Building a clear mental picture becomes tiring. And something so important ends up feeling unnecessarily hard.
This led to a simple but powerful question.
What if understanding money didn’t feel stressful or overwhelming?
What if it felt calm, supportive, and easy to return to? That question became the foundation of Fortura.
Fortura brings income, expenses, and balance into a single view. A gentle overview users can understand in seconds. No pressure, no overload - just clarity. Something you can check without hesitation.

We realised numbers alone don’t change behaviour. Seeing totals doesn’t explain why money disappears.
What really matters is spotting patterns and habits. That insight led to the creation of the Spend Score.
Many people hesitate to ask money questions.
They worry about sounding uninformed or “bad with finance.”
Fortura introduces an AI Buddy - a safe, judgment-free space.
A place where curiosity feels comfortable.
Getting scolded by an app instead of a reassurance and constructive way to build good financial habit affects a lot by inducing a sense of being judged and this leads to ignorance of unhealthy & impulsive financial decisions.
